    • Still in the spirit of jewelleries, Greek artist Eleftheria Stamati draws inspiration from the infinite void to create ultra-modern jewellery that's sculptural and simple with architectural elements.

Defined by long sleek lines and pendants with a 3D effect, the collection is a design interpretation of when chaos and order intersect and is dubbed The Mechanics of Black. Tag a friend who would wear this!
    • In Indonesia, we've seen many great jewellery designers who are inspired by the country's fascinating historical past. Renowned duo designers Happy Salma and Sri Luce Rusna who founded Tulola Jewelry @tuloladesigns, for example, took the local wisdom heritage of their own area in Bali and infused it with modernity. One of their iconic signature pieces is the subeng earrings.
-
Inspired by traditional Balinese jewellery design, subeng is a kind of ornamented stud with an oversize padding at the back. Tulola used this as inspiration and imbued a modern touch by giving it a soft floral design using various gemstones such as black onyx, green quartz, amethyst briolette, white topaz, moonstone, to even pearls. On several other subeng designs, they also changed the traditional long padding at the back of the earring into a pyramid shape to give the contemporary look.

    • Oman Air has recently introduced its new First Class private suite, thoughtfully and tastefully designed by the airline's brand and product development teams.

One of the most commented features by passengers is the seat. It’s comfortable and spacious at 58 by 203 cm wide, with a lie-flat seat and electrically controlled backrest, leg rest and seat depth. The divider between seats assures every passenger can have their quality rest and uninterrupted entertainment. The seat formation is 2-2-2 but each seat has its own entrance. Quilted duvets, cotton pajamas and slippers are provided to enhance the comfort.

Don't worry, the cabin crew takes your food orders early on in the flight, so as not to bother you if you choose to snooze.
    • To our writer Erza @madame_exotique who travels months at a time, it is a great joy to know that his “temporary home” while travelling overseas is made with such passion and taste. From ever-exciting New York City, the romantic Slovakia, the imperial Vienna, to the breathtaking New Zealand, each hotel he's stayed in is truly unique and has strong design originality.
-
One in particular is The Surrey in New York City @surreyhotelnyc. A stay at The Surrey will give you the feeling that you are staying at the private residence of a fabulous designer. Since the first step to the lobby area up to the room and even to the oh-so-Coco Chanel Pleiades bar, whole ambience in this hotel is sexy yet subtle.
-
Located in one of Manhattan’s most exclusive addresses, the Upper East Side, and literally perched on the edge of Central Park, The Surrey is definitely a place where sophistication meets good taste.
