Fashion Journey from Art to Zaha

Coco Chanel’s empire is being continuously reinvented and kept alive by the equally creative genius of Karl Lagerfeld, but the fashion icon left behind a legacy consisting of a foundation of signature classic fashion statements that is as relevant and popular today as the day she designed them herself. Chanel is synonymous with the tweed suit, little black dress, the camellia, string of pearls, chain belt, two tone shoes, No. 5 fragrance and the quilted bag. The latter was the classic inspiration to the contemporary architectural creation of Zaha Hadid for the Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion.
