There are so many subcultures in the world that brought great design aspects to human civilization. These subcultures or minorities developed in South East Asian countries when the Chinese started to venture around South East Asia to trade way back in the 4th Century AD. The day when these Chinese people decided to stay permanently is also the time when a new subculture was invented. Thus the subculture known as Peranakan came into existence in this region.
