For distinguished travelers in search of a chic blend of culture and cuisine, art and architecture, Sofitel So Singapore in the heart of the Singapore CBD offer guests a luxury hotel experience that is ‘So Singapore’, housed within an iconic heritage building built in 1927 on Robinson Road. Masterfully-created, commissioned objects featuring Karl Lagerfeld’s “The Lion’s Seal” emblem can be spotted throughout the hotel, including the BooKube, and DoorKnockers on the So Heritage Wing and the bespoke bathrobe en nid d’abeille featuring the red-and-white ‘Lion’s Seal’ embroidery.

An intimate La BibiloteK decked with a collection of books, curated by the maestro himself, sits beside the Xperience Bar. The front-of-house ambassadors is dressed in a garde-robe straight from the fashion designer’s namesake collection, Karl Lagerfeld, greeting guests as they walk through the hotel entrance.

The hotel’s interior was meticulously designed by Singapore’s only French design house, MIAJA Design Group, led by award-winning designer, Isabelle Miaja. Her detailed, one of a kind concept won over the hearts of the stakeholders and successfully turned Sofitel So Singapore’s 134 rooms into exquisitely designed rooms. The Oh-So Stylish Sofitel So Singapore rooms, located within a So Hip wing and a So Heritage wing, are unlike any other hotel rooms in Singapore. Dressed to impress and inspired by 19th century French decadence, every room at Sofitel So Singapore invites guests to dream with high ceilings and bespoke light boxes featuring images of palatial glass domes inspired by the traditional architecture of Europe and modern constructions in Singapore. A coffee table with a Singapore map printed on its mirror surface reflects the map to the ceiling.

Nine opulent suites which consist of 6 So Lofty and 3 So VIP suites complemented by regal balconies flanked by antiquated columns, the So Lofty suites overlook Singapore’s bustling business district and are reminiscent of traditional Parisian apartments. The bathrooms, too, are unlike any other. In the epicenter sits a unique bathtub, which bears three thoughtful compartments dedicated for wine or champagne bottles and glasses to complement a decadent bubble bath.

Another exciting feature is the light-filled atrium that welcomes guests into a lobby with unique artworks and a captivating hexagonal light installation, L’Hexagone. This is part of the Kaleido Art Collection for Sofitel So and it was a collaborative piece between Miaja and Lasvit specially made in the Czech Republic. It consists of 70 LED lit Hexagons made of stainless steel and cut crystal beads weighing over 1,700 kg with a dimensions of of 25m x 14m.

The hexagonal shape is spotted throughout Sofitel So, on the floors and decorating the walls because it mirrors the hexagon-like geographical shape of France, Sofitel So’s country of origin.

Just a few steps away from the lobby is Sofitel’s stunning restaurant, Xperience, with a plush ‘bed-table’ in the corner and oak wood engineered flooring in hexagon shapes. The hotel’s signature restaurant and bar is a key highlight of the exciting new property catering especially to Singapore's cosmopolitan clientele. With a relaxed, yet stylish gastro-bar dining concept, Xperience will take guests on a one-of-a-kind experimental and interactive culinary journey of the senses.

With the modern traveler in mind, Sofitel So Singapore is equipped with the world’s first completely Apple®-based guest technology solution in every room, including iPad minis to control all room functions and iPhones to call for hotel requests.

To experience it all simply stay at So Sofitel Singapore for an Oh! So! Wonderful hotel and Xperience!
