There are more than two hundred million patriotic Indonesians who are proud of this country and its achievements, heritage, cultures and panoramic landscapes: From our lavish tropical forests, paddy fields and mountains to our deep blue sea treasures and coral reefs. To appreciate this rich and diverse archipelago there are many monuments that have been designed and built to represent geographical significance, memorial landmarks and our cultural heritage. Dolorosa Sinaga, renowned Indonesian artist and lecturer at the Institut Kesenian Jakarta and Heri Pemad, an art curator of Heri Pemad Art Management have generously given their valuable input to help Indonesia Design select the most Iconic Monuments in Indonesia.
