Unparalleled Legacy

Batik masterpieces designed by maestro Iwan Tirta are famously know throughout the world. Royalty including England’s Queen Elizabeth, Spain’s Queen Sophia as well as a number of American presidents—Ronald Reagan, Bill Cinton and George W. Bush—have proudly donned his creations. South Africa’s first democratic president, the late Nelson Mandela, could very well be dubbed the ‘batik brand ambassador’ as he frequently wore Iwan Tirta’s batik collections during various formal occasions.

As a designer, the late Iwan Tirta largely dedicate his life to batik.
