A hotel in Nagasaki, Japan will open in July to offer us a glimpse of the future because it will be staffed almost entirely by helpful humanoids. Robots will provide a wide range of services at the hotel including room cleaning, front desk and porter services. They will check-in new guests, carry their luggage and clean their rooms. Kokoro designed the robots to look and behave like young Japanese women. They can make eye contact and alter their body language while communicating with guests.
