The Ace of Indonesian Product Design

Indonesian products are best known for their craftsmanship – from jewelries of Borneo, intricate cane and ceramic works to varieties of kain songket and batik. We grow more and more proud of our local products with each passing day. Along with the popular handicrafts, the Indonesian industrial design has also seen significant progress in the past four decades. Indonesia’s first professor in industrial product design, Imam Buchory Zainuddin shares his thoughts on the country’s product design scene.
