Tilda Swinton Designed Korean Eyewear Brand Gentle Monster

You know who Tilda Swinton is, but you probably don’t know that she designed sunglasses. Check out her collaboration with Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster, which features three different hues and styles. Two  feature thick acetate frames in three colourways. The second one is nearly frameless with thin stainless steel rims, designed to establish mirrored lenses. The Korean brand, an avid fan of Swinton, says that the actor represents the core identity of Gentle Monster. With this in mind, the brand collaborated with Swinton both as the designer and also the campaign star.

Kasliwal’s family have served as the crown jewelers to country’s maharaja since the mid-18th century. Now, their company has completed the collection after two years of development, supported by intensive labor from the company’s trained artisans in Jaipur. Banker’s Desk Lamp Revamp for 2017

Dexter Desk Lamp via brand

Taking inspiration of early 20th-century corporate culture, Mark Moussa of Arterior introduced the Dexter Desk Lamp. 1909 Emeralite Lamp of Harrison D. McFadden became the main muse of Moussa’s creation. He took the glass from the Emeralite’s shade to be the base of the lamp with crystal-poured twist. He also created his own shade brass in keeping Emeralite’s opaqueness. The Dexter does not look like Emeralite in a glance because it offers geometric shape, shorter profile and boxy base which respects the McFadden banker’s lamp for its own traits.
