Milestone of Indonesian Furniture

Besides being a key element of interior design and architecture, furniture also plays an important role in various aspects of the human life. In fact, it has done so since as early as the 16th century. In Indonesia, the study of furniture started in 1972, originally a part of Product Design Studio at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Deny Willy, a interior desifn lecturer of Telkom University sheds some light on the chronological history and development of furniture in Indonesia.
