Bagnoli, the scenic seaside quarters of Naples, Italy, was one of the industrialization sites of the city in the early 20th century until it was bombed to ruins during the Second World War. Rapid reconstructions occurred one after another in attempts to restore the city, but that too led to an urban decay. But with careful planning, designing and reconstruction, Bagnoli holds just as much potential as it does history and like they say, third time’s a charm.
