The Eminent Hotel

Since its opening in 1996, Conrad Centennial Singapore has won numerous awards and remained popular with international visitors. As it approaches its 21st year of operations, the management saw it befitting to renovate the hotel in order to offer our guests a rejuvenated experience. Therefore, they reached out to acclaimed luxury hospitality designer, the late Jaya Ibrahim, to incorporate a contemporary design whilst maintaining Asian touches.

The rejuvenated look unveils 487 guest rooms measuring 40-43 sqm – some of the largest standard rooms in Singapore – and 24 Centennial Suites along with their associated bathrooms. The new design features the use of quality natural materials throughout the room to incorporate Jaya’s signature style - the five-star contemporary fit-outs with accents of Asian touches.

The luxurious atmosphere gets reinvigorated with clean lines and a soft, neutral palette of fine linens and elegant finishes. The window coverings are made of a natural jute fiber framing the views of Marina Bay and the city landscape. Details of the custom-made carpets reflect contemporary Peranakan-inspired patterns. The black-and-white prints of US-based architect and photographer, Gene Nemeth, were commissioned for the guest rooms with its distinct character of Asian architecture and decorative accents to complement the room in elegance. All rooms feature movable tables and daybeds to transition seamlessly from work to relaxation mode.

Following the rejuvenation of the guest rooms, Conrad Centennial Singapore introduced a new event space, The Pavilion – a glass-enclosed junior ballroom. The sophisticated ballroom caters for up to 140 guests banquet-style and 160 guests theatre-style. Spanning 234 sqm, The Pavilion is built with sleek, contemporary lines and overlooks a relaxing outdoor pool. It is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual systems, including a videowall. Its airy, open interiors feature high ceilings, offering a sense of luxury amidst the city’s dynamic scene – ideal for those looking to have an intimate wedding, reception or event.

Conrad Centennial Singapore is an ideal venue for meetings, conferences and social events. In addition to the junior ballroom, the hotel also has the main ballroom that can cater up to 550 guests, and 12 other function rooms. It’s also strategically located in the heart of Singapore’s vibrant business and entertainment district of Marina Bay, a mere 20 minutes from Changi International Airport.

Conrad Centennial Singapore hosts a diverse display of exquisite artworks in its public areas, award-winning restaurants as well as guestrooms. The collection comprises over 3,400 original works of sculptures and paintings by both notable local and international artists. These art pieces reflect the hotel’s appreciation towards fine arts and in particular, its support of and commitment to the development of the local art scene.
