Lavish Living in the Urban Aerium by Sinar Mas Land

10/29/2017

Sinar Mas Land is collaborating with two Japanese companies Itochu Corporation and Shimizu Corporation to build Aerium, a compound of townhouses and premium apartment towers in Taman Permata Buana. Its strategic location places it close with international schools, hospitals, offices at the West Jakarta central business district and easy access to Jabodetabek toll roads.

The name Aerium hints on the nature-inspired living that has become its tagline, “A Breath of Fresh Air”. This architecture concept was brought by Australian architecture firm Woods Bagot and developed by Airmas Asri to design the 18,000-sqm land area into an idyllic apartment in the heart of an urban area.

The two towers take only one quarter of the whole land area, while the rest are dedicated to outdoor facilities and landscape, also designed by Airmas Asri, to optimise air circulation and airy ambiance.

The lavish living continues to the interior done by PTI Architects Indonesia, as well as the luxurious lighting by Klaasen Lighting Design.

The exclusive apartment comprises of 366 units and 18 townhouse units. Each of the 37 storeys will hold only 12 apartment units to ensure privacy and tranquillity for every occupant. The two-bedroom units are available in size of 84.1-sqm, 91.1 sqm, 98.9 sqm, 99.6 sqm. The three-bedroom apartments, which are presented with double private lifts, come in 144.8 sqm and 165.6 sqm.

The premium living space is complemented with high quality sanitary products and marble floor in the common rooms, while all bedroom floors are covered with wooden parquette slabs. Engineered doors will be applied to each unit as the front door as a part of the integrated smart home security system.

Aerium’s modern lifestyle concept is visually interpreted by Insada Design team in the showrooms. The modern look is breaking away from the sterile white-box aesthetics. Earthy colours are added to evoke a warm ambiance, suitable for the family-oriented target market. The clean lines in the interior design open up the space and give the impression of bigger rooms. Insada implemented a largely monochromatic grey colour palette with punches of colour in forms of nature-inspired patterns – symbolic of an oasis as young families sanctuary, away from the intensity of a metropolitan city.

Besides indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a facility building, Aerium will also feature the Airy Garden Area, which consists of a tree house, hammock, children’s playground, mini golf, mini nursery, barbeque area, garden party area, jogging track. Moreover, occupants will enjoy semi-open corridors and a sky garden every four floors. It is also complemented by advanced security system and 24-hour smart home automation system.

The groundbreaking was held on 5 August 2017 by Ishak Chandra (CEO Strategic Development and Services Sinar Mas Land), Hongky J Nantung (CEO Commercial Sinar Mas Land), Atsushi Sekiguchi (General Manager of Construction and Realty Department of Itochu Corporation), Osamu Funaki (Vice President Director of PT. Itochu Indonesia), Haruhiko Washimi (Deputy Managing Director and General Manager International Investment Department of Shimizu Corporation) dan Satoshi Arai (Country Head International Investment Department of Shimizu Corporation).

Sinar Mas Land held a gala dinner on 9 September 2017 to celebrate this lavish living. The apartment complex is scheduled to complete in 2019.
