Tri Hita Kirana is derived from the Sanskrit phrase that roughly means “the three sources of happiness.” Moreover, this adage has been used as the philosophy of living for the traditional Hindu Balinese people in viewing life. This philosophy puts forward a harmonious relationship with The Creator, a harmonious relationship with other human beings and a harmonious relationship with nature. The concept has been deeply rooted in the lives of the local people and it is also profoundly felt as we step inside a resort, The Royal Pita Maha in Ubud, with its strong relaxation and spiritual aura. From this place, it appears that we are able to witness the eternal and great power of God Almighty.

Featuring a very organic design, The Royal Pita Maha occupies a strategic location right by the verdant hills, overlooking the rugged valleys and zigzagging Ayung River down below. The philosophy of Tri Hita Kirana is truly applied by the designer, who is also the initiator and creator of The Royal Pita Maha, Tjokorda Gde Raka Sukawati. Comprising 78 villas of various types, 4 restaurants, 3 large swimming pools in addition to the private pools, and also an expansive spa area, the resort is fully integrated and all-inclusive.
