Renovated in 2012, its retouch was handled by P49 Deesign & Associates who were originally from Thailand and had been active in the design world since 1979. A contrasting design is reflected by the two types of Deluxe Rooms: Deluxe Rooms with brown nuances that nestle on the 12th – 17th floor and the white coloured themes that envelope the G Deluxe Rooms on the 18th – 26th floor. Meanwhile, the Executive Rooms receive a touch of brown shades and offer more complete and personal facilities than the Deluxe Rooms. The same applies to the 33 Suite rooms embodying a massive 77-165 sqm area with spacious bathrooms and spectacular views of the city.
This hotel is equipped with 2 bars and 2 restaurants as well as an Executive Lounge. There is a famous hamburger restaurant from Los Angeles on the ground floor called 25 Degrees. Next to showcasing a traditional American burger bar complete with the funky music and enticing décor that portrays a brilliant “bordello meets burger bar” accent, this 44-seat restaurant is also open 24/7! On the 37th floor there is Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant that is open from 6 pm until 1 am and has a view that takes your breath away. Scarlett exudes a sensational ambiance and integrates the vogue concept through the placing of the wine display at the front door, a main bar in the middle of the room, an interactive kitchen corner and a private room that accommodates 15 people. It also houses 160 chairs in and outside of the establishment.
Another snug hang-out place called Playground is situated on the mezzanine. With 40 chairs and tables set with a strong play philosophy, Playground brings the “speak-easy” atmosphere into the 21st century offering a variety of cocktails assembled by professional bartenders. Another restaurant is the Mistral Restaurant, a modern dining venue that serves both local and international cuisine suitable for breakfasts, meeting luncheons and private events.
The hotel also features a ballroom named Ballroom38 on the 38th floor. The vast area of the room is 42 sqms and can facilitate up to 300 people. You can find The Gallery two floors beneath it, consisting of 4 rooms inspired by New York style art galleries. Two other rooms designed for other events are The Library and The Retreat. This hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre on the 5th floor. The Anne Semonin Spa on the 4th floor presents 9 treatment rooms including 2 VIP rooms allowing guests to feel the weight of the world slowly slipping away from their shoulders.
